E-Bimbing: Young prisoner's E-learning Platform for E-Lifeskills, Capacity Building and Occupational Information is a social project to empower 1200 young prisoners in five prison institution in Malaysia. The project aims to equip young prisoners in multimedia and desktop publishing skills by developing a comprehensive E-Learning platform which comprise both general and specific employability will enable the youth to seek better job opportunities. Capacity building in the entrepreneurship skills will allow them to use the knowledge gained to start digital micro-enterprises in their own neighborhood. Access to online occupational information will enable the youth to further studies in local youth training institutes or to join an apprenticeship program in manufacturing companies.
